In Memory of Heidi

Heidi is my doggy-niece. Her family, who loved her, said farewell to her recently. She is at final rest...after a very good life. A loyal companion, a brave dog-woman, and a wonderful friend.

Here is Heidi with her mother, and her beloved younger brother "Hans" at Convict Lake. She enjoyed visiting the Sierra Nevada Mountains. She loved to hike, and was always sweet and considerate——never pulling hard on her leash.

She leaves behind a little sister, Maggie (nicknamed "Otter of the River") and little brother Samuel. Heidi was a patient older her little brother and sister often get into mischief.

Always ready for adventure, here is Heidi in her doggie-goggles.

We love you Heidi!

Thank you for your wonderful tribute to Miss Heidi. Our hearts ache because of her absence. She was surely one of God's sweetest, most gentle gifts. She would certainly send you a wet, sloppy kiss if she could. We thank Him for her peaceful departure.
P.S. I think she had you snowballed about the "pulling" thing. How else do you think I got up "Crank Case" hill?!!

What a beautiful dog - and the others as well. I know how hard it is to lose a cherished pet.

What a sweet little doggie. Thanks for sharing that with us.

I remember how hard it was after my first dog died. Her name was Candy and she was a good dog, sweet and loving.
