Moon at the North Pole

Photo artwork by Inga Nielsen

My sister-in-law sent me this picture. It's so beautiful! I hope it cheers you for the moment while you are here.

It is indeed very beautiful! Thanks for coming over today for a little visit! I hope things are going well for you.

It's a stunning "photo", but it really is Photoshop gone mad. The moon and Sun appear, in fact, as exactly the same size from the earth. This is why the moon barely covers the Sun during a total solar eclipse.

Leave it to you to point this out! I "googled" "moon at the north pole pic" and sure enough...it's a piece of art...beautiful however.

Beautiful! I can't wait to show it to my husband. And I've been teaching an in depth study of Genesis chapter one to the children on Wed. nights at our church. I can't wait to show them this picture!

It's beautiful, even if it is a piece of art, like you mentioned above! It will be fun for the kids to see anyhow!
