Computer Disconnect

My computer would not turn on yesterday. To make a long story short, it's in the shop, and APPLE is going to fix it for free. This is a blessing--that we don't have to pay for it! But it won't be done until the last part of January.
I may not be able to post as often as I'd like...because I'm on my youngest son's computer, and it may not be possible.

In continuation with the last post....my older son decided he didn't want to look for a job on day#2 or day#3. And he didn't attend an appointment he had today.

This morning my writer's critique group was over. I cleaned up the whole house and moved the dining room table over toward our front window. It's a large picture window. I opened all the curtains in the house. Because its raining! And I love to watch the rain. I lit a cozy fire in the fireplace. We did some critiquing and sharing of our lives. I'm blessed to be a part of such a group.

Ahh, how dreadful to be computerless - at least you get a chance here & there on your son's. Sorry to hear you're still struggling with the job hunt with your son. I'm glad for your group that you can open up & share with!

Its been raining here as well. Everything is slush & ice!

I have been blog tonight- something I don't normally do.
But I stopped and read a little.
Sounds like we have some similar things going on with our sons.
I have an 18 year old that has become a handful.
Knowing where to take a stand and when to let something ride--it is rough.
Keep praying.
BTW--my name is Sharon Lynn Brumfield -that caught my eye.

I'm praying for day 4 & 5...and for you.

Oh, dear. Not surprising to me, but sad just the same!

I'm glad to hear your computer won't cost to get fixed.

That must be very frustrating with your son. Continuing in prayer.

What a nice morning for your writers group meeting! I love to sink into my reading chair under a soft blanket next to my fireplace.

Have a great day Sharon!

Sharon Lynne,

Keep doing! Keep praying! And keep trusting God to use each moment to bring your son to restoration. These are very difficult days...nearly impossible! I know the paralysis you feel when these things happen. I know the frustration of actively "letting go." I know the desperation of hopelessness...and still, I know God! His promises are certain and his power is imminent! Keep praying that hedge around your son....keep believing, not in human effort, but in divine intervention.

I'm believing with you...for both of our sons.
