...over the back fence (bird of paradise)
...behind the shed (Camellias)
...on the tips of trees (Lemons)
...along the driveway (daffodils)
and standing proudly like a herald...the Iris plant.
Spring is coming!

Okay, now I'm homesick! My mom called and said, "We have spring!" My dad has orchards of fruit trees: lemons, oranges, peaches...you name it. And the daffodils are out. I just might have to jump on a plane and go back out. When I was there in January, there was rain every day! I'm going to check out plane flights right now!

Just beautiful! I need to get out to the back yard to see if we have any hints of anything peeking out. We have spring/winter/spring/winter - as my kindergarten Care Bear said, "a pattern" - learned in kindergarten math.
