Motorcycles in Mammoth

Here we are in the Sierra Nevada mountains near Mammoth. We pulled the bikes to the side of the dirt road for a quick picture. Actually, it took a few minutes to line up the bikes!

This picture was taken a couple of years ago, but it is one of my favorites. Cody is the son on the left and Dylan is on the right.

More motorcycle pictures will be coming!

No one in my family rides motorcycles, but that looks like a great time, and a great place to be together doing something. Beautiful place.

There's a family at our church who ride dirt bikes and it's a rare sighting to see the whole family when no one has a cast or bandange on one or more appendages. (Husband, Wife, and four sons all ride.)

I took some pictures of them last summer when they performed some tricks at our church as the Big Finale to Vacation Bible School. I have a post about it and some pictures HERE if you care to see them.

Looks like fun!

Makes me think: "A family that bikes together...stays together!"

My guys took their horses up into the Sierra Nevadas last September. That is when I started Mustang 'n' Cowboys!

I am starting to get a lot of dirt bike pictures, too!!!

Hi Sharon, I'm glad you found me on CWO. It's great meeting another female rider. That is really neat that you ride dirt bikes. That is cool that your whole family rides. My husband and I are the only ones. My eldest son has no desire and my youngest is only 12 yrs old. I think he will when he's old enough. I know he's old enough for dirt bikes, but we can't afford to go that route at this time.

My husband and I only have street cruisers. I rode my grandpa's street/dirt bike a few times when I was in high school way back in the dark ages, lol. He'd take it to my uncle's house where there were loads of dirt trails. I'd be gone for hours. He lived hours away and we didn't get to visit him and my grandma much.

I grew up in California and once went backpacking in the Mammoth Mountains. It was fun.

Thanks for stopping by. In my sidebar are lots of motorcyclists, and a fair amount of them female. I've added you to my list. Have a great week.
